Bio - Rev. Perry and Patsy Coghlan
Perry and Patsy Coghlan have been married 36 years this year and are the parents of four sons and two daughters (ages 33 down to 13). They are also the proud grandparents of seven beautiful granddaughters and two handsome grandsons (one of whom is named after his grandpa!).
Having met and married in Texas they are die-hard Cowboy fans and promise that they root for the Titans all season except when they happen to play Dallas.
They have over 35 years of combined teaching experience. Perry has taught ages from preschool to college age. They spent two years in an apprenticeship in Florida learning the Academic preschool model they now offer in Spring Hill. They moved to Tennessee in 1999 to teach at a Christian school in Franklin. Moving to Spring Hill in March of 2000 they have watched the community grow steadily and it was in 2002 that they began to pray and plan about opening a Christian school in Spring Hill.
Spring Hill Academy opened its first preschool in November 2004 and its second preschool in June 2006. Kindergarten commenced in the fall of 2006 and first grade will be added, God willing, in the fall of 2007.
The Coghlans plan to spend the remainder of their lives in Spring Hill building a high quality educational program, preschool through twelfth grade, committed to establishing Biblical moral and character foundations in the lives of children and preparing children to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world by equipping them with the tools of learning.
